SAE START UP LOANS FOR STUDENTS

Active FFA members across the country are required to complete Supervised Agricultural Experiences each year.  Though only one of many options, many students choose to start their own agribusiness.  This business could be anything from landscaping to raising livestock.  Unfortunately, this can be one of the most difficult paths due to the cost of getting started; be it purchasing a lawn mower and gas or a market animal and feed.

With these hurdles in mind, our organization is pleased to offer
SAE Start Up Loans to active FFA members at area high schools.

Our innovative SAE Start Up Loan program provides students with the initial funds necessary to get their SAE up and running with a simple, easy to understand repayment process and low interest rate.  This is a first-of-its-kind program developed by our organization, and quickly gaining attention across the state and country. In addition to the initial funding, these loans help students gain a better understanding of loan processes (helping them better navigate future decisions such as student loans, car purchases, and mortgages).

We are pleased to partner with Park National Bank as our processor.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Qualifying applications must be submitted electronically and follow all instructions on the application.  Incomplete applications will not be accepted.  Qualifying applicants will be contacted to set up an interview with our review committee.  The interview is informal, and intended to allow students to further explain their project and for the committee to ask for any clarification.
